• Influences - You love bands like Rage, Reef, Audioslave, Pearl Jam, Bush, Led Zep etc.
• Music - You would love to play our music
– www.holetripper.com. We don’t do covers not because were precious or anything but simply are time-poor for practice so need all the hours we can playing our own tunes. We also have a whole bunch of songs in the pipeline.
• Purpose - You play to have fun first and foremost but if you’re doing something then you give it your all and want it to be as great as it can be. Our goal is a million-plus streams and gig at decent places.
• Commitment - You can commit to 1 band practice every 2-3 weeks on average for 2023 and then in 2024 with a fair wind play 1 gig a month and/or some South West festivals. The current band all have wives, lives and kids and however un-rock it is we are family first – band second if there is a crisis on the home front.
• Playing Standard - You operate at a high level because the band founders are not professional musicians and coming at this late to the party, we want to be surrounded with musicians who can play the stuff better than we could ever do.
• Location - You live in the Exeter or Bristol area or close to the M5 corridor (or are cool with travel) as currently 2 members live in Honiton and 1 in Bristol and we will continue to practice and play in and around these two cities for the foreseeable future.
• Extras - An added bonus would be an interest in helping run some of the general band tasks and releases but this is not a requirement if not interested in this stuff just be nice to share a bit of the load..... |
