Trying to get a flavour for a new project and see if there are people out there. This likely won't hit the ground running but I'm looking for passionate people who can help to drive this.
Looking to see if there are any Glorias, Marvins, Frankies, Arethas, Stevies, Rays out there looking for a project to match their pipes. As it's a blank canvas I'd love to find someone who can help call the shots and shape this. Don't fancy being front and centre? Backing vocalists could be great!
Past that we could do with some brass! Trumpets, Trombones, Sax and beyond. It's a beast I know little of. Ideally need at least one person who is competent at playing in a band and can take the lead with organising this section.
Play Keyboard or Piano? Say hi! Again something I personally know little about, so looking for someone who can really take ownership of their area.
Drums and Guitar are an absolute must. Ideally people who understand the genre or are willing to learn.
Would be looking for a fortnightly practice. Ideally Stroud and on Evenings but I think it's important to be willing to travel to Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bristol to reflect the demand.
No specific ambition. Cover versions is the main plan, unless we have any talented writers in our midst. As above, the singers pipes will dictate the sound. Pubs, Local Festivals, Touring? Record Deal? Why not?! We'll see what the limit is when we get there.
