Are you a young/adult musician (18-28 years) that enjoys the 80's new wave and ground-breaking sound of Oingo Boingo? We're hoping to bring the UK it's first and best Oingo tribute.
The Mystic Knights Revival is looking for members! Currently we have our Frontman: Vocals and Rhythm, age 20 and Bass, age 20; so we are currently looking out for:
- 1-3 Brass Players (Alto, Soprano, Baritone and Tenor / Trumpet and Trombone)
- Lead Guitar
- Drums
- Keys/Synth
We would love for you to also provide backing vocals if possible!
We're aiming to bring back the synth-filled creepy-ness and general sound of the 80s, with no other band representing it as much as Oingo Boingo. With 7 publicly released albums and a plethora of songs (including unreleased ones) there's an almost endless selection for setlists. If you want to take it up a step, we more than happily acknowledge wearing 80s/90s attire to create a more authentic feel, after all; our frontman has his Danny Elfman-inspired white tank top and pant bracers/suspenders ready.
Behind the scenes we're hoping to enjoy ourselves, and also for the experience. There'll be a bit of money in it too of course.
