50 year old male looking to either join a band or form a new one. Genres of interest Grunge, Punk, Post Punk, Alt / Indie Rock, Shoegaze. Some musical influences include Nirvana, Fugazi, Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, Rollins Band, Sex Pistols, Minor threat, Nine Inch Nails, Soundgarden, Idles, The Smiths, Jeff Buckley to name a few.
Describe myself as an average/intermediate guitarist who is primarily a rhythm player but can do some lead work. I am a keen songwriter and wrote most of the material In my last 2 bands but happy to collaborate and exchange/share ideas. I also can do punk/post punk style vocals and did lead vocals for my previous band. Happy to be in a band doing solely guitar or a combination of guitar and vocals/ backing or sharing vocal responsibilities.
Looking for similar like minded people who wish to work together to create some decent music. As long as you can play to some degree, I'm not bothered about working with the most skilled musicians out there and we can work together to improve. Main thing for me is that I want to work with committed people who are not time wasters and who will dedicate time to rehearse regularly . If this is you feel free to get in touch :-) |
