Looking for a bassist and drummer - Punk rock/skate punk/political punk - Near Eastbourne
Hey All,
I'm part of a new punk rock/skate punk/political punk band in the SE - near to Eastbourne. Looking to get gigging in either the Hastings or Brighton areas.
We're currently two guitarists of 10+ years who have been writing for around 4-5 months - we have guitars tracked and a fair amount of vocals for several songs - I have recorded basslines and we have ideas for the drums but looking for a drummer and bassist to come in and put their own mark on it.
Drummer would need experience with double bass pedal and/or ability to do fast, driving beats as well as single pedal doubles and ideally triples. Bassist can grow into it a bit more, doesn't need to be expert but intermediate ability or better would be preferred. We would like all members to give input on song writing and if you can sing then that's a bonus!
Some influences include NoFX, Four Year Strong, The Offspring, Strung Out, Sum 41, Ignite. We are mainly punk rock but are happy to branch out a bit into lighter and more hardcore/metal-ish territory as we have a wide range of influences. If anyone is in the area and interested, drop me a message and I can give you more information. We've been writing during lockdown with a few finished songs, about 10 started. Will likely drop in some covers too.
