Hey All,
We are a new band, Pocket Propaganda, that formed during the first lockdown in the SE - near to Eastbourne. Looking to get gigging in either the Hastings or Brighton areas.
We're currently two guitarists and a drummer of 10+ years (29-32 years old) who have been rehearsing and writing over the last year or so. We will do some covers but probably mostly originals.
We have about 7-10 covers down and now are focussing on writing drums and vox with about 4-5 original songs mostly finished and a good 10+ part songs to work on.
The bassist can grow into the band if a bit inexperienced, doesn't need to be expert but intermediate ability or better would be preferred. If you can contribute to vox or backing that's a bonus, happy if you don't write music as we can sort basslines, although recording and production experience also a bonus.
Some influences include NoFX, Four Year Strong, The Offspring, Strung Out, Sum 41, Ignite, Alkaline Trio. We are mainly punk rock but are happy to branch out a bit into pop punk and more hardcore territory as we have a wide range of influences.
