We are a covers band based in Bourne, Lincolnshire and we are looking for a new lead guitarist to join us.
We are called Miscellaneous, and we play Rock/Pop covers from the 60’s to present day. www.facebook.com/miscellaneousband
We pride ourselves on our clean sound quality - DI’ing the guitars direct from the pedalboards, using a triggered mesh head drum kit and having an in-ear monitoring system that means we have full control over front of house volume and our monitor mix (each band member has their own monitor mix).
We tend to play pub gigs once/twice a month and also play functions such as parties/weddings, of which we have a couple booked for 2022. We do rehearse occasionally and freshen the set up, but we wouldn’t say that rehearsal would be a big commitment for somebody.
Our current guitarist also plays in an originals band, and it looks as if he will become busier next year, so we are looking for someone to start taking over towards the end of this year/early next year. There is also the potential that the role could be shared between him and someone new. The reason for looking for a new guitarist is that our availability for gigs is very limited when sharing a musician with another band.

We are looking for someone who is happy to play our style of music and will keep their sound similar to the original track. Of course, we want someone that can express themselves, but we would like solos/riffs played like the song – we have had a bad experience of a guitarist using our gigs as more of an improvisation/jam session.
