Keith Richards wanted for Rolling Stones tribute band
Play guitar like Keith? Full time Guitarist wanted to begin ASAP. Well established (12 years) professional 6 piece band with a busy diary (up to 100 gigs a year) and gigs ranging from music venues, theatres, festivals, and private functions. Band based in Chesterfield area, but gigs are nationwide and also some work abroad, so as long as you are happy to travel, and an up to date passport is needed. Mainly weekend work, however some midweek stuff so ideally looking for a guy with flexible work hours if you have other jobs. Looking for a good player with a good attitude. The band uses authentic equipment and costumes, so this is something that will need to be talked about if you don’t already have it. The band portrays each member of the Stones by wearing wigs and costumes, so you must be up for that. A love of the music is a must. Don’t have to be a look-a-like, however image is still important. Backing vocals would be great, ability to sing some of Keith’s lead vocals a bonus. But mainly, a good player with an ability to replicate Keith’s guitar sound and style.
