I am an experienced guitarist versed in many styles looking to form a band playing orginal material. (Some interesting cover versions are welcome, however.) Alternative rock/art pop is the best genre description I can think of. By 'alternative' I mean mixing and mashing styles: from Chic to Portishead, Led Zeppelin to Kate Bush, Radiohead to Lady Gaga, Nadine Shah to Hans Zimmer... you get the picture. A huge range of influences and sonic palette. I'm particularly looking for a Female Vocalist who can go from loud to soft and, preferably, writes their own lyrics. Also looking for Keys, Bass, Percussion and other musicians such as Cello, Sax, etc. A committed, creative approach is more important to me than gigging experience or age.
