I'm hoping to start a group to play some experimental or unusual music on a regular basis every few weeks or so.
I'm not particularly fussed on what instruments people play, I play guitar primarily and I also play a bit of synth but this doesn't need to have the usual bass, drums, guitar, keys setup.
Ideally I'd like to do a few covers, or some unexpected re-arrangements of songs and hopefully some original stuff but that's just a thought, I'm easy.
By experimental groups I mean stuff like:
Swans, Coil, GodspeedYou!BlackEmperor, Wire, Can, Early PiL, Mogwai, Sonic Youth, The Fall, Talk Talk, My Bloody Valentine, Sleep, Battles, Einstürzende Neubauten, Ataxia, Birthday Party etc. |
