Looking to set up a project along the heavier side of post-rock with a slight chunk of desert rock influence - think Aussitot Mort with an underlying Kyuss vibe.
Hoping to do this as a two-piece, keeping it instrumental. I'm a bass player running through a rig with a pretty massive sound (octave pedals, etc.), looking for a drummer with experience in metal but who is open minded and has a good knowledge outside of the genre and is willing to experiment with whatever works. But if I can't get enough atmosphere/texture out of the pedals etc. then I would be looking for a guitarist (lead) to join us.
I've worked in a project like this before but it disbanded due to distance. Definitely looking to gig with this so I'm looking for someone who is regularly available and is up to take it as far as it goes.
I haven't posted any recordings on here as I'm looking for it to be a proper collaborative project with both writing together in a style that comes out as a proper blending of musical tastes etc. Thinking to have a few casual jams first and see if anything clicks, then go from there.
