Looking to meet some fellow musicians of a similar age (18-23, male or female) who are based in Scotland (North Lanarkshire and surrounding areas) and would be interested in jamming together. I've been playing drums since August of last year so I am still a novice but always looking to improve and enhance this skill. I have become bored of playing along to songs on my own and have struggled to find musicians in my surrounding area who would be interested in jamming together. I currently have a Roland TD27KV2 and an amp at home. I am willing to buy an additional compact drumkit which I could bring with me and set up at studios if it did not already have one have one. The bands and artists I like include AC/DC/, Poison, George Michael, GUN, Iron Maiden, Motley Crue and Stevie Wonder but open to learning any song by any artist. I can read sheet music to a certain extent but not very complex songs as I am still new to it. I am hoping to find musicians who are still learning and could teach one another and offer advice on how to improve.
