David and Dan both play guitar and sing. We've been doing so for more than 10 years. The last few months we've been playing together. Covers to begin with, while we get a feel for each other's style and interests. The Strokes, the National, Gaslight Anthem, Weezer; that kind of thing.
You don't play guitar for 10/15 years and not write your own stuff, and we've got original songs. In the last few weeks they're being transformed from rough demos on GarageBand to living, breathing prices of music. If you're interested, I can send you some. They need input from a rhythm section, and that's where you come in.
We're looking for a bassist and a drummer. We practice one evening most weeks at the rather awesome Resident Studios in North London. It's not boot camp and it's not an opium den; we have a laugh but play pretty hard. Get in touch if you want to be sent demos, find out when we're next rehearsing so you can come down, or meet up for a beer and talk music. We don't care what age, sex, race, nationality, religion, orientation or shoe size you are; if these things matter to you, don't bother getting in touch.
