Passionate and committed blues guitarist looking for other blues musicians to jam, form a band and eventually gig with. I have played guitar on and off for 20 years and did some gigging in my teens but started playing seriously again in 2018 and now practice every day without fail. I would describe myself as a competent blues rhythm and lead guitarist who is seriously committed to getting better every day. What I might currently lack in live experience I make up for in passion for playing and sharing the blues.
So many influences but must mention BB, Albert and Freddie King, Peter Green, Clapton, Muddy Waters, Otis Rush, SRV, T-Bone. Honoury mentions for Jimi, Johnny Winter, Howlin' Wolf and my man Robert Johnson. Mostly into classic Chicago and Texas blues sounds from the roots right the way through, but also classic Rock & Roll and some contemporary blues rock, e.g.Joe Bonamassa. |
