Hello everyone!
I am a 16 year old guitarist looking to start a first band.
I am looking for people who are as obsessed with their instrument as I am with guitar. Rather than focusing on originals, I think it would be most beneficial for all of us as musicians if we decide on songs to learn, and practive them together as a band. My hopes for this project are that it will motivate everyone involved to practice more, and hopefully it will help everyone gain valuable experience and become more well-rounded musicians as a result.
It would be great if everyone is able to make it to ellis studios / soundmagic rehearsal studios for practice, but if not, we may be able to work out another place to go. I'll cover bookings and payment for the first couple of sessions just to see if this works out.
No band experience is neccessary, the whole point of this band is to gain that experience after all.
I'm really looking for people about the same age as me, i.e people between 13 and 18. It might be a bit weird if we've got a 40 year old and a 16 year old in the same band haha. Anyway, if you're interested in being part of this, it'd be great if you could reply / pm me a bit about you, your instrument, and the styles you're into.

I should add, I personally like Frank Zappa, Steve Vai, Dream Theater, Rush, Primus, Pink Floyd, but I really listen to all music, and I'm happy to recieve song reccomendations.
