I recently parted ways with my previous project & am looking to start something new, something prog and something bloody heavy! (back to my roots). Myself and my drummer friend have starting jamming and have come up with some really cool ideas (we think). We're looking for a bass player and (eventually) a vocalist to finish off the line up.
I studied guitar at ACM (for my sins) 10 years ago, and have been playing guitar and gigging for 15 years. My drummer (Neil) is a graduate of Drum Tech and is somewhat of a monster player. We're both self confessed prog, metal & classic rock geeks (don't worry we're not that weird!). To top things off I even work at a Prog label (Kscope). Which means I have some connections! (I guess...)
Influences include (but are not limited to): Hendrix, Zeppelin, Cream, Pink Floyd, Transatlantic, Spock's Beard, Rush, Yes, Porcupine Tree, Steven Wilson, Dream Theater, Tool, Pantera, Down, Opeth, Karnivool, Mastodon, Pearl Jam, Slipknot, Stone Sour, Metallica, A Perfect Circle, Russian Circles, Pelican, ISIS, Alice In Chains, Clutch, Rage Against the Machine, Lamb Of God...
