I play mainly by ear, Alto and Tenor Sax and some similar electronic wind instruments, I like to improvise. I love to sing , so could do backing / harmony and some lead vocals. I have written a couple of songs I am certainly not advanced but have been playing at home for many years. I have played in a very informal band on a handful of occasions and have recorded a song with them, which I wrote. I am 58 years old but still think I’m young. I am also an electronics engineer with lots of audiovisual experience and I have some equipment such as microphones audio mixer ,PC Based recording system. I like rock and most types of pop, I particularly like Pink Floyd, Dire straits ELO Commitments style soul, Paulo Nutini, The Eagles, Sheryl Crow and many other bands and musical styles mainly from the 70s to the present day. I would be up for gigs or practice once a week mainly for fun. as I don’t consider myself very experienced I imagine that joining an existing band would work best but I am open to other options. |
