I listen to all sorts from pop, through to Hardcore/Post hardcore. I tend to listen to upbeat music, rather than ballads, but what I play and what I listen to have often been quite different in the past.
Playing wise, if I'm forced to choose one bassist who I look to, it would have to be John Paul Jones.
I believe that the best music is a synthesis of the talents of each musician and so for me the idea of putting labels on music is a bit pointless. |
