I’m a recent convert to Christianity, looking to start a hardcore/thrash band inspired by acts like Burden of a Day, The Crucified, Zao, Focused, Focal Point, and No Innocent Victim.
Previously, I played guitar for local NEHC band 40oz back in the late 00s/early 2010s, and for the past 9 years, I’ve been playing bass and managing the heavy psych-rock band Snakes Don’t Belong In Alaska. We recently parted ways due to ideological differences (I’m a conservative Christian, while they were progressive atheists), and I thought it was worth noting to avoid any misunderstandings.
I have plenty of experience touring the UK and EU, working with labels and booking agents, but this project is more about making heavy, Christ-centred music, sonic evangelism if you will, rather than chasing the industry. If the opportunity arises, great, but the focus is on crafting muscular Christian themes with a heavy, hardcore sound.
I can play guitar or bass and do thrashy, hardcore-style vocals if needed, so I’m not fussy about roles. If this resonates with you, send me a message, and let’s talk.
