Hello peeps, so me and two other folk are wanting to start a band, in the style of Midtempo & Metal. I am going to be the rhythm guitarist and they are going to do vocals.
We want it to be a blend of both genres, like we are incorporating that acidic basstone, with the aggressive synths (not always) and 4-to-the-floor drum patterns (again, not always) from Midtempo with heavy style vocals and metal guitar riffs of metal.
Let me list some examples: Wargasm - Spoiler (Recoil), Meganeko - The Cyber Grind, Rezodrone - Resist and Disorder and Noisescream - The Doom Party.

Also! For the synth/keyboardist; if you can play bass and have one, then that is a massive bonus but as you'll hear in the midtempo examples I gave, there is no need for an actual bassist but always nice to have one.
