A friend and I are looking for a drummer to round out a new musical project - between us we have guitar and bass covered but lack the hitting of things.
We're in the very early stages of this thing, just jamming ideas together with a few part formed songs taking influence from (in no particular order, and by no means exhaustively): hard/alt rock, shoegaze, post rock/metal, doom, grunge...
A few of the bands that have come up in conversation are Queens of the Stone Age, Cult of Luna, Deadhead, Bossk, HUM - basically, it's pretty open-ended, but leaning on fuzzy, distorted, atmospheric kinda stuff.
You get the idea. So if you drum and any of this appeals, hit me up and we'll go from there.
We're both Norwich-based so someone also in the city would be ideal. No particular desire for shred or anything fancy, just keen to make something noisy and have fun with it. |
