I’ve been playing bass since 1996. I started in my first band in 1998 and have been in covers bands as well as originals bands. I have a lot of gigging experience and a decent amount of studio recording experience.
As you’ll see from my influences, rock, hard rock and metal are my preferred genres. Having said that, I have played in acoustic projects as well, so it’s not all about being loud.
I’m reliable and always learn songs (covers or originals) in my own time so that rehearsals can be used to actually rehearse as a band.
I’m able to write bass lines for originals (see uploaded Judgment Day and My Hollow Self tracks) and always play for the song when playing covers even though the line I play might not be exactly the same note for note as the original (see uploaded Bite Me tracks).
I’m always a proactive member of any band or project I am part of and very much enjoy gigging and studio recording.
Finally, I have been completely blind since 2005. This does not affect my playing ability as you can hopefully hear from my uploaded tracks, but it does mean that I’m not going to be running around the stage any time soon. |
