Lyrical genius seeks musical genius.
Okay, I'm not really so arrogant as to think I'm a genius. I've been writing songs for over twenty years, and I get a lot of praise for my lyrics, and a lot of reality checks about my musical and composition skills. I'm looking for a song writing collaborator or collaborators, to form a band with the view of become a professional band with original material. It will work best if you're thirty five plus, simply because it is unlikely we will match if you're younger, but I won't rule anyone out simple on age. I'm very guitar orientated, with influences ranging from Pink Floyd to Dinosaur Jr, to Slipknot, to Metallica, to Carter USM, and right over to folk music. I can sing clean, growl, play guitar (to a reasonable level), and bass in an emergency (but don't expect Flea). I write about reality and interesting things, no BS vacuous love songs.
