Hi! I’m Max and I’m looking for a band or just some general experience - jamming, as a session musician, recording, gigging etc - in and around the Greater Glasgow area. I’m 16 and most comfortable as a bassist. I’m happy to do lead/ backing singing if it’s needed and I’m pretty good at guitar too and I can play lead but would probably rather keep it to rhythm. I’ve been playing bass for about 6 years, unofficially grade 7 and working towards my grade 8 exam. Hoping to connect with others around my age. I’ve had some previous experience in a band so I’ve had practice writing and such. I’d love to experiment with synths if you can play them. My influences are classic rock, disco, funk, synth pop, soul.. anything really although I’m not into country, traditional, folk and metal. I listen to a ton of music from hard rock to old jazz standards. I like most things 70s/80s. Not too fond of new music but that’s because they don’t write like they used to.. let’s change that!
