Hi! We are currently a 2 piece group looking to expand our sound to a full band dynamic and looking for like minded musicians local to the North West or North Wales for regular rehearsals, gigs and recording.
We come from an established group that's been around on the goth/dark wave scene for 25 years and we would like the new outfit, called Heartbreak Noir, to have broader appeal outside of that scene. Over 2 years we've built it up as an acoustic duo on the live circuit, but have released material with a band sound too...we feel we've done all we can with 2 of us and now looking to get a friendly, driven, fully live band together to have some fun and make a massive noise!
Very much looking for an indie rock with a hint of shoegaze approach, with focus on powerful vocals and melodic original songs...most of all to really forge a unique sound, be open minded and have a great time getting out and playing both locally and over in Europe where feasible.
Influences include, (but definitely not limited to!), Slowdive, U2, The Raveonettes, Yogi Lang, Suede, The Cure, Camel, Ray Wilson, Nick Cave
