I am 51 (still young at heart), I have been playing Bass for 35+ years, with thousands of gigs. I have not played in a band for quite a while so I am rusty, but looking to get back into it. Mostly Rock and Blues, but have played in many types of bands. Maybe looking for to play for fun and practice at first and then see how it goes.
