Hi I’m an experienced, committed, melodic, blues, rock, soul and occasional jazz bassist, playing fretless as well as fretted bass. I have performed in numerous bands and on many recording projects over the years. My last band was a tight rock/blues four piece and has sadly disbanded after a decade of fun years playing to happy audiences in many venues, We played from an extensive set list of rock, blues songs spanning the 70's to 2010’s done in our own impro style mixed with a good sprinkling of our own original songs.
I am actively looking to join a new or existing band, preferably one that gigs regularly or is planning to get out there soon. I have recently reduced my working hours so I have more time on my hands to focus on my music. I can sing BV's and have my own songs I can bring to the party if you are interested.
I have a fully professional and collaborative approach to playing and performing and I appreciate and understand the key role of the bass guitarist in a band. Would love to get into a tight rock/blues trio/quartet again. writing and performing originals as well as covers.
I also record and produce my own and other artists songs in my own studio.
I live near Hereford and am fully mobile with quality gear. I am happy to travel a reasonable distance to rehearse and gig, I am committed and will work hard for the right opportunity.
