Female Jazz/Soul vocalist would like to join a committed project for creating original repertoire, rehearsing, recording, gigging, touring etc..
Influences include - Belleruche, Hiatus Kaiyote, Bajka, Radio Citizen, Little Dragon, Bonobo, Jdilla, Flying Lotus - (Jazzier stuff), Robert Glasper, Billie Holiday, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Amy Winehouse, Louie Armstrong and many more old and new artists and bands.
Wanting to be involved with a band that have a Nu-Jaz, Neo Soul, quirky, warm kind of vibe with some nice beats and possibly some live brass? Want to mix old and new music and make something really delicious, gritty, jazzy and soulful.
My vocals have been likened to most of the above artists.
